Streeter Park Campground is conveniently located near downtown Aurora and is available year-round to the public. The campgrounds offer free camping on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a four-night maximum stay. Donations are requested, and there are free electrical hookups, water, and a waste water dumpsite. The park is home to the Twin Cottonwoods monument, a historic landmark that commemorates the trees that stood alone on the bank of Lincoln Creek in the middle of the plains. The park also features the Deepwell Irrigation Monument, which highlights the importance of irrigation in the region.
