Lone Star Recreation Area is located 4 miles east and 1/4 mile south of Ohiowa, Nebraska, and encompasses 75 acres of surface water with 160 acres of surrounding land. The lake is stocked with catfish, bluegill, and largemouth bass, making it an excellent destination for fishing enthusiasts. The recreation area offers nineteen electrical RV camper pads and three picnic shelters, providing amenities for both day visitors and overnight campers. As part of the Little Blue Natural Resources District's seven recreation areas, Lone Star offers a variety of outdoor activities in a scenic Nebraska setting.
