Pioneer Village Campground is located in Minden, Nebraska, just 12 miles south of I-80 (Exit 279), offering a unique combination of camping and historical museum experiences. The campground operates seasonally and provides RV accommodations ranging from primitive sites to full 30 and 50 amp service sites, capable of accommodating units up to 50 feet long. Visitors can explore the Harold Warp Pioneer Village complex, a 20-acre museum comprising 28 historic buildings housing over 50,000 irreplaceable items of historical significance. The museum features a Pony Express Station, Frontier Fort, sod house, general store, antique toy collection, and an impressive display of 350 antique automobiles and 20 historic aircraft arranged in chronological order. This is the only Museum of Progress in the United States where visitors can experience how America grew, making it an educational and entertaining destination for families.
