River Road RV Park and Campground is located by the Ontonagon River and Marina with easy access to Lake Superior, and just 1 mile from downtown Ontonagon. The campground offers 30 full hookups with pull through sites for larger RV's and shady tent sites to accommodate all campers. The Service Building has a laundry, flush toilets, and a new and modern shower facility that is handicapped accessible and features hot showers and a heated floor for those cool days. The campground also offers a Dump Station, Game Room with a pool table, Laundry Room, Playground for the kids, basketball hoop, volleyball, and fire pits for those evening campfires. The Ontonagon River and Marina are across the road from the campground, where you will find a fishing pier, boat ramp for your fishing boat, and fish cleaning facilities. Charter Service, boat, and canoe rental in town. Great fishing on the Ontonagon River or try Lake Superior for Walleye, Lake Trout, Whitefish, or Salmon - - Delicious cooked on the grill. Many recreational opportunities in the Porcupine Mountains and the nearby Ottawa National forest for fishing, hiking, hunting, canoeing, and mountain biking with many ATV, ORV, Multiuse, Snowmobile, and Equestrian Trails in the area. The campground is perfect for a group or any traveler who would like reasonable lodging and ideal for fishermen, hikers, mountain bikers, skiers.
