The privately owned and operated campground features 40 campsites equipped with electric hookups and select sites with water hookups, along with modern shower facilities. Guests enjoy direct access to over 90 miles of hiking trails in the Porcupine Mountains, including iconic destinations like Lake of the Clouds Overlook, Summit Peak, and Presque Isle River waterfalls. The campground sits just a short walk from Lake Superior's sandy shores, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and sunset viewing. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit on paved driveways or gravel pads, with amenities including free Wi-Fi, a dump station, and an on-site store offering firewood, ice, and supplies. The campground operates seasonally from May through October and welcomes well-behaved pets.
