Welcome to the official site of the NCBA! The North Carolina Bowhunters Association was first conceived in 1970 and incorporated as a non-profit organization on March 14, 1973 in Monroe, N.C. The NCBA concentrates on legislative action, conservation, and the 'Bowhunter' image. Founded in 1975, the NCBA has a rich history, with its original founders and directors being Jerry Rushing, J.V. Golightly, Jim Hogan, Steve Morgan, and Cecil Musselwhite. The NCBA has grown from its beginnings to what it is today, with a focus on preserving and promoting bowhunting. The NCBA has a strong presence in North Carolina, with local chapters and affiliates, including the Pope and Young Club. The NCBA is a unified voice for North Carolina's bowhunters, working to ensure a bright future for the sport.
