Lake Gaston Americamps is a family-owned and operated campground located on the north shore of Lake Gaston in Bracey, Virginia, just 5 miles east of I-85 exit #4. Situated on one of the country's most outstanding lakes with over 20,000 acres of water and 350 miles of shoreline, the park offers 120 overnight camping sites and 8 cabin rentals. The campground is well-suited for fishing enthusiasts, with the lake stocked with striped bass, largemouth bass, crappie, sunfish, and catfish. Lake Gaston Americamps provides a family-oriented atmosphere with planned activities including live entertainment most weekends during summer, crafts, games, tournaments, and children's activities. The park features a well-stocked convenience store, laundry facilities, propane services, and an outdoor chapel with Sunday services. Amenities include a pool, arcade, and various recreational opportunities both on-site and in the surrounding area.
