The North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground is conveniently located in an urban setting adjacent to Interstate 40 in Raleigh, making it an ideal base for exploring the Triangle region. The campground features 100 full-hookup RV sites and operates year-round, with the exception of October when it closes for the annual N.C. State Fair. Beyond the campground, the fairgrounds hosts over 500 events annually, including trade shows, garden sales, cultural events, and concerts. The James B. Hunt Horse Complex on the grounds features over 80 equestrian events per year, while the Raleigh Market operates every Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can enjoy the diverse attractions and activities available throughout the fairgrounds and surrounding Triangle area.
