Crooked Mountain is a veteran-owned primitive tent campground located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Floyd, Virginia, just half a mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway (MM 159.3) and 4 miles from downtown Floyd. The campground specializes in tent camping and welcomes car campers, motorcycle campers, bicyclists, truck campers, and other smaller vehicles exploring Southwest Virginia. Guests can choose from creek-side, field, and pondside camp sites. Beyond camping, Crooked Mountain offers a seasonal five-acre you-pick flower farm operating July through September featuring sunflowers, zinnias, snapdragons, rudbeckia, and other cut flowers. The property also includes a farm and camp store stocked with basic camping essentials, local artisan items, souvenirs, farm products, snacks, and drinks. Located along the Crooked Road historic music trail, the campground serves as an ideal base for exploring the region's natural beauty and cultural attractions.
