About

Mayberry Campground is a privately owned RV park located in Mount Airy, North Carolina, a town often referred to as Mayberry. The campground sits on land that was once part of a 2,000-acre farm owned by the famous Siamese twins, Eng and Chang Bunker, who settled in the area in the 1800s. The property features a white farmhouse built in 1900 by Eng's son, William Bunker, and the current owner is a great-great-great granddaughter of Eng. The multi-tiered park offers picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and provides full hookup RV sites with water, sewer, 50/30 amp electric, and WiFi. The campground is open year-round and serves as an ideal base for exploring local wineries, visiting Mayberry-themed attractions like Floyd's Barber Shop and the Andy Griffith Museum, and enjoying regional restaurants and outdoor activities.
