Creeper Trail Campground is a small, family-owned campground located in the remote Grayson Highlands of Virginia at 3,534 feet elevation, offering a peaceful back-to-nature camping experience with modern amenities. The campground has been family-owned for over 45 years and operates as part of the Grayson Highlands Homestead, focusing on sustainable living with gardens, chickens, and a developing vineyard. Guests can enjoy pristine mountain views, see the Milky Way at night, and experience abundant wildlife including wild turkeys, coyotes, bees, butterflies, and bunnies. The property is ideally situated for accessing the Virginia Creeper Trail and nearby outdoor recreation, including hiking to wild ponies in Grayson Highlands State Park and visiting Virginia's two highest peaks. On weekends, the on-site Achy Bum Café serves espresso coffees, breakfast sandwiches on homemade bread, and gourmet pizzas, adding to the unique experience.
