Established in 1969, the Wolf's Lair Campground can be found just a 1/2 mile away from South Holston Lake. The campground's close proximity to the lake provides an opportunity to stay enclosed by the natural beauty of Southwest Virginia. With Sportsmans Marina down the road, you will have a variety of recreational lake activities. The campground itself is equipped with adequate amounts of attributes that will leave you satisfied with your stay. 3 Pigs Barbecue, the restaurant and a general store found at the campground, will allow you to indulge in a southern crafted meal. The general store provides you with retailed goods and items that you may have forgotten. The store also includes snacks, drinks, firewood, ice, and anything else they believed would materialize your comfort during your stay at the Wolf's Lair Campground. The 3 Pigs BBQ and the store are seasonal attributes but the campground itself is year around. Equipped with picnic tables, lawn chairs, and a firepit, the gated pool is a perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay at the campground. Located next to the pool area you will find a bathhouse for your convenience. If you do not have a camper, they have easily accessible glamping tents designed to provide you with optimal nightly comfort. All have a view of the lake some with Queen beds and some with full-beds, bunk beds, wood flooring, a small kitchen with a table and seating, and patio furniture, your nightly stay will leave you nothing less than satisfied.
