The Sierra National Forest offers a wide variety of natural beauty and recreational opportunities to the American public. Visitors can enjoy camping, horseback riding, swimming, picnicking, biking, and hiking opportunities, as well as fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, fall-colors, skiing, snowshoeing, and off-highway-vehicle riding.
