The Landing Strip Campground is a unique family-friendly RV camping destination located in Morehead, Kentucky, situated on an actual airstrip in the foothills of Appalachia. The campground features 68 full hookup RV sites with both 30-amp and 50-amp electrical services, water, and sewer hookups at each site. Located less than six miles from Cave Run Lake and Marina, the facility offers excellent opportunities for hiking, boating, and fishing. The campground is open year-round with peak season from late March through early November, and welcomes golf carts and bicycles. Amenities include a playground, infant play area, and pond for fishing, with nearby restaurants, convenience stores, and gas stations. A music venue and general store are planned additions to the facility.
