Lawrence Creek Campground is a family-friendly 32-acre waterfront campground nestled on Lawrence Creek near Maysville, Kentucky, where the creek flows into the Ohio River. Originally opened in 1974, the campground is now owned and operated by the Abbott family, who are committed to continuous improvement and understanding campers' needs. The property features 32 full hookup RV sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp electric service, primitive tent sites, and approximately 20 acres of undeveloped wooded land available for hiking, fishing, birdwatching, and ATV riding. Guests enjoy direct access to Lawrence Creek and the Ohio River with boat docks, a small launch area for jon boats, canoes, and kayaks, and some of Kentucky's best fishing for bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish. On-site amenities include the CreekSide Tavern, a camp store, bathhouse, laundry facilities, walking trails, and pavilions. Located just 10 minutes west of historic downtown Maysville and 15 minutes from Augusta, the campground is conveniently positioned between Cincinnati (1 hour) and Lexington (1.5 hours).
