Sycamore Grove Farm is a diversified small working farm in central Virginia. The farm offers a variety of goods and services with Southern hospitality and attention to detail. They raise loving pets for sale to families who will love and care for them, including Labrador Retrievers, Labradoodles, and smaller 'designer' dogs. The farm also has a small RV Park primarily for itinerant workers who are in the area long-term and wish to live in their campers near their work sites. The farm is self-sustaining, with gardens and fruit trees that provide healthy fruits and vegetables for the family and their neighbors. They also have a small herd of steers that they rotate in several fields and sell when they are the right size and age. In addition, the farm offers dove, turkey, and deer hunting in the fall and winter, and fishing in their pond during the spring and fall. The Newtons are active members of their community, involved in their church and supporting local farmers through a co-op to sell locally raised produce.
