Montebello Camping & Fishing Resort is a pristine mountain retreat nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Nelson County, Virginia, just three miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. This historic property offers authentic log cabins, tent and RV camping, a five-acre lake, and a fee-based trout fishing pond, along with a unique country store that has operated since 1894. The resort is surrounded by the George Washington National Forest and near Crabtree Falls, the highest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi, as well as several Appalachian Trail trailheads. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, wildlife viewing, apple and berry picking, wine tasting, and exploring the rich Appalachian heritage of the area. The campground operates seasonally from April through October and provides a genuine outdoor experience for families and nature enthusiasts seeking to disconnect and reconnect in the mountains.
