Stetson Shores Campground is a historic lakefront campground located on Pleasant Lake near Newport and Bangor, Maine, operating since the early 1900s. Situated on twenty-nine acres, this family-friendly destination offers large, wooded campsites with scenic views and accommodates all types of campers. The campground features full-hookup RV sites with 30-amp and 50-amp options, partial hookup sites, and traditional tent campsites, each equipped with a fireplace and picnic table. Pleasant Lake provides abundant recreational opportunities including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and boating, while the nearby Pleasant Lake Preserve offers hiking trails. Additional amenities include a private beach with swimming area, boat launch and fishing dock, playground, sports courts for volleyball and horseshoes, camp store, and organized events throughout the year.
