Welcome to Saxapahaw Campground, a unique camping experience located on 10 acres of beautiful wooded land right on the Haw River, just below the Saxapahaw dam. The campground is an easy 10-12 minute walk from the village of Saxapahaw, where visitors can find fresh drinking water, food, and supplies. The campground offers various amenities, including a central gathering place under a 22x40 foot pavilion, hot outdoor showers, and a clean and frequently serviced toilet house. Guests can choose between bringing their own tent/hammocks or renting the Tree Pod or Tandem Pod, or one of the two cabins available. The campground has a maximum stay of two weeks and does not allow RVs or large travel trailers, pets, or campers to bring pets. Reservations are required, and check-in/setup must be before sunset.
