Monarch Spur RV Park and Campground is a small family-owned park nestled in a valley in the San Isabel National Forest along the south fork of the Arkansas River at 8,620 feet elevation in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Operating since 1940 and recently under new ownership, the park has earned over 300 five-star reviews. It offers 60-foot pull-through RV sites with full hookups including 20, 30, and 50 amp power, as well as tent campsites near the river. Guests enjoy amenities including free Wi-Fi, clean laundry and shower facilities, a camp store, and a 7,000 square foot dog park. The location provides easy access to numerous outdoor activities and attractions in the Salida area.
