Mountain View RV Resort is a family-owned and operated RV park located just 3 miles from Colorado's Royal Gorge in Canon City, open April 1 to October 31. Situated at 6,400 feet elevation, the resort offers panoramic views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains and stunning sunsets. The park features 100% gravel, level sites with full hookup amenities (water, sewer, 30/50 amp electric), with half of the sites being pull-throughs ranging from 65 to 100 feet long for big rig access. Ninety-five percent of sites include concrete patios, fire pits, picnic tables, or upgraded outdoor furniture. In addition to traditional RV sites, the resort offers unique glamping dome accommodations and comfort cabins. Amenities include fast Starlink WiFi, the best showers available, recreational activities like cornhole, horseshoes, basketball and shuffleboard, and group facilities with indoor and outdoor seating areas. The resort serves as an ideal basecamp for exploring the Royal Gorge region and Canon City, which is 6 miles away.
