About
The Georgia Appalachian Trail Club manages, maintains, and protects the Appalachian National Scenic Trail in Georgia with volunteers from its membership and the interested public. The club has over 1000 members, maintains over 130 miles of trails, and hosts over 100 planned yearly events. Whether you’re planning your first day hike or preparing for an extended section or thru-hike, the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club can help. The club offers a trail guide, about the trail section, and news updates. They also host various events throughout the year, including the National Trails Day events on June 6. The club is a non-profit organization that relies on donations and membership to continue its work.
