Littcarr Campground is a US Army Corps of Engineers facility located on the shores of Carr Creek Lake in southeastern Kentucky's mountainous region. The campground offers 45 sites with electric and water hookups, making it an excellent destination for camping, fishing, boating, and enjoying the natural setting. The area features a scenic, heavily forested landscape with hardwood and pine trees, along with diverse wildlife including songbirds and waterfowl in the marshlands. Visitors can enjoy various recreational activities including water skiing, swimming, and fishing for crappie, bass, bluegill, and walleye. The campground provides family-friendly amenities such as two playgrounds, a picnic shelter, horseshoe pits, and basketball and shuffleboard courts, along with essential facilities like flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Hiking opportunities include a short nature trail in the Dam/Tailwater area and the more challenging six-mile Sugar Branch Trail.
