Harlan County Campground & Cabin Rentals is a family-owned and operated facility conveniently located ten minutes from Harlan or Cumberland, serving as the Putney Trailhead for the Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area. The campground offers eighteen cabins ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, along with RV sites and tent camping options. All cabins feature bathrooms with showers, heating and air conditioning, barbecue grills, kitchens or kitchenettes, picnic tables, and fire pits. Two-bedroom and larger cabins include full kitchens and hot tubs. The facility provides comprehensive amenities including two shower houses, laundry facilities, a pressure wash station, propane refill station, and an on-site trail shop. Located just 9 miles from Leatherwood Off-Road Park and near Boone's Ridge National Tourist Destination, the campground welcomes groups and families seeking outdoor recreation and weekend getaways.
