Lee Lake Seasonal Campground is a privately-owned, family-friendly campground located just a few miles east of Hawley, Minnesota, conveniently positioned between Fargo/Moorhead and Detroit Lakes. Established in 1981 and currently operated by Justin and Amanda Halvorson, this ma-and-pa style campground offers a seasonal-only experience from May 1 through September 30, with a minimum 5-month stay requirement. The property features large lots with hundreds of mature trees including oaks, elms, maples, and blue spruce, situated directly on Lee Lake with five additional small water bodies throughout the grounds. Visitors can enjoy a swimming pool, laundry facilities, playgrounds, walking trails, kayaks, volleyball court, frisbee golf course, picnic shelter, and horseshoe pits. The campground maintains a busy activity schedule and operates a modern lodge offering shopping and food services exclusively for campers.
