Dakota Prairie Grasslands offers many natural attractions to visitors. Each grassland provides a unique recreational experience. Choose a recreation opportunity or recreation region below, then scroll down to view and select from the list of related recreation sites. Recreation fees are required for some developed sites and facilities, such as campgrounds and day-use areas. Collected fees help the Grasslands maintain and improve services and facilities, including water systems, roads, and restrooms. Interagency Senior and Access Recreation Passes offer a 50% discount on Single Campsite fees only. The discount applies solely to the campsite occupied by the pass holder and does not extend to additional campsites or fees for other party members. Passes can be obtained at all five DPG offices.
