About

Sangchris Lake is a beautiful spot for camping, with two campgrounds to choose from: Hickory Point and Deer Run. Hickory Point Campground has 55 Class A sites, 10 Class C sites, and 2 rent-a-cabin sites, with playground equipment, showers, and a restroom with flush toilets nearby. Deer Run Campground has 80 Class A sites, 40 Class B/S sites, and 5 Class C sites, as well as 5 equestrian campsites. Both campgrounds have handicapped sites and a sanitary dump station. However, water facilities are closed from the Monday prior to Thanksgiving through March 31st, and Deer Run is closed from the second week in January through March 31st. Despite these closures, Sangchris Lake remains a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, and other activities.
