Evening Star Camping Resort is a full-service family campground celebrating 56 years of operation, established in 1969 and located on 35 acres of pristine land 6 miles outside Havana, Illinois. Situated between Peoria, Springfield, and Bloomington/Normal on US Highway 136, the resort accommodates all camping types from tents to large motor homes and offers seasonal and monthly rates for those working in the area. The facility features large wooded and open grassy sites with 20, 30, or 50-amp electric service, pull-through and back-in options, plus full hookup, water/electric, and primitive campsites. For those without their own equipment, cozy heated and air-conditioned cabins are available. The resort operates from April 1 through October 31 and provides extensive family-friendly amenities including a swimming pool, mini golf, fishing pond, playground, and numerous planned activities and themed weekends.
