About

Lake Cunningham is a 390-acre lake surrounded by a 1,050-acre park located in north central Omaha, Nebraska. Constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for flood control and recreation, the park opened to the public in 1977 and offers a diverse range of outdoor recreational activities. Visitors can enjoy camping at two distinct campgrounds (East C with full hookup and West C with electric only), no-wake boating, fishing, hiking on a newly renovated 6.2-mile trail, bicycling, disc golfing, kayaking, and sailing. North of Highway 36, the park also features an archery range and nature trails for horseback riding. The park operates from 5:00am to 11:00pm daily with two seasonal campgrounds open April 18th through November 2nd, providing convenient online reservations for visitors planning their outdoor adventures.
