About

Lake Cunningham is a 390-acre lake surrounded by a 1,050-acre park located in north central Omaha, Nebraska. Constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for flood control and recreation, the park opened to the public in 1977 and offers a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities. Visitors can enjoy camping, no-wake boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling, disc golfing, sailing, and kayaking. The park features a newly renovated 6.2-mile trail, a marina with boat slips, and north of Highway 36 there is an archery range and nature trails for horseback riding. With two campgrounds offering different hookup options, convenient online reservations, and numerous amenities, Lake Cunningham provides an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking to connect with nature and create lasting memories.
