Four miles of long, sandy beaches on the San Mateo Coast with gentle dunes, consistently cool marine weather, peaceful ocean views, and shore fishing opportunities in a quiet, open setting. The beach is located a half-mile west of Highway 1 with 3 parking lots in the City of Half Moon Bay. The park accepts various passes and offers activities such as picnicking, fishing, swimming, and nature and wildlife viewing. The park also has facilities like restrooms, showers, and drinking water. The park's annual Coastal Wildflower Day festival is held in April.
