Located halfway between New York and Florida, this rural, peaceful campground is nestled among cotton, tobacco and peanut fields. Just 3/4 mile off I-95, it's the perfect place to stop, unplug, and relax for a night or the weekend. While we are not a destination campground, we are the perfect overnight or quiet weekend campground. The campground is close to several historic sites in nearby Halifax. You're also about 2 1/2 hours from Virginia Beach or Cape Hatteras and the Outer Banks. You'll find shopping and family activities to the north in Roanoke Rapids or to the south in Rocky Mount. Both are only a short 20-minute drive away. Your dogs will enjoy a large off-leash, fenced-in pet area at our KOA. We offer RV sites, primitive cabins.
