Elk Meadows RV Park is a scenic campground nestled among firs and pines near the base of Mt. Adams in Trout Lake, Washington, approximately 1.5 hours from Portland and 30 minutes north of Hood River. The park offers over 50 wooded full and partial hookup RV sites along with cabin rentals, making it an ideal base for exploring Washington's Southern Cascades. Guests can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, fishing, mountain climbing, and wildlife viewing. The park features clean restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, an on-site dump station, propane filling station, Wi-Fi hotspot, and recreational areas. Nearby attractions include the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area, Indian Heaven Wilderness, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mt. Adams Wilderness, and sister peaks Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens. The park is open seasonally from April 15 to November 15, with winter cabin stays available by request.
