Gorge Base Camp is a year-round RV park and tent camping facility located on the Washington side of the Hood River Bridge, just 60 minutes east of Portland in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. The park offers well-maintained RV sites ranging from 40 to 80 feet in length with a mix of pull-through and back-in options, all featuring paved pads and full hookups with 30 and 50 amp service. Amenities include a playground, sparkling restrooms, and laundry facilities. The park serves as an ideal base camp for accessing the region's world-class outdoor adventures, including hiking, biking, skiing, rafting, paddling, windsurfing, kite boarding, and mountain biking. Guests also have convenient access to local wineries and breweries. The park offers winter long-term RV spaces from October through April 30, making it suitable for both short-term visitors and extended stays.
