Eightmile Campground is a campground located in the Mt. Hood National Forest. It offers dispersed camping, where visitors can camp outside of designated campgrounds. The campground is a great way to enjoy the peace and solitude of the Forest. Visitors can explore the various recreation opportunities available in the area, including biking, climbing and caving, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, off-highway vehicles, water activities, and winter sports. The Barlow Ranger District, which includes the campground, is located east of the Cascades crest and encompasses about 280,000 acres. The area offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains and forests.
