About
Devils Half Acre Campground is located in the Mt. Hood National Forest. The campground offers dispersed camping, where visitors can camp outside of designated campgrounds. The area provides opportunities for various activities such as biking, climbing and caving, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, hunting and shooting, off-highway vehicles, and water activities. The Barlow Ranger District, which encompasses about 280,000 acres, is located east of the Cascades crest. A valid Sno-Park Permit is required for parking November 1 to April 30 at almost all Mt. Hood sno-parks. The area is subject to erosion hazards, winter storms, and avalanches. Visitors should be aware of the rules and regulations for parking, camping, and other activities.
