About

Cottage Creek Campground is a new campground located in the Tahoe National Forest, near Camptonville, California. It offers double and triple sites with a beautiful view of the Bullards Bar Reservoir. The campground has all new amenities and is surrounded by conifer and hardwood forests, providing plenty of shade at the campsites. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as wildlife viewing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, and other water sports. The reservoir provides yearlong fishing opportunities for both warm and cold water fish species. Supplies are available at the marina as well as the nearby communities of Camptonville, North San Juan, and Dobbins. The area also features a non-motorized trail system with 5 different trails to choose from, including the Bullards Bar Trailhead, 7 Ball Trail, 8 Ball Trail, Rebel Ridge Trail, and Schoolhouse Trail.
