BWCA Campsite #703, located on Alder Lake, is a mildly overgrown campsite that gets less use than others along the north shoreline. The ground is a bit swampy in spots, particularly at the start of the trail going up the hill to the latrine. The canoe landing is OK, but not great. There is minimal tent space, with a small, grassy tent pad available. The latrine is up a hill at the end of a moderately overgrown trail. Access to the shoreline from this campsite is more limited compared to other sites on this lake. The campsite has a somewhat rocky landing and an adequate fire pit.
