Zigzag Mountain Farm is a 50-acre property located at the base of Mount Hood, about an hour's drive from Portland. The farm offers a unique escape from the city with its meadows and forest, bordering thousands of acres of national forest. Visitors can camp in their own tent, van, or small RV, stay in one of 8 yurts, or rent the tiny house or 2-bedroom original cabin. The farm features an organic garden, campfire circle, picnic areas, a campers' kitchen in a converted city bus, outdoor seating areas with BBQs, a kids' play structure, and hiking trails. A year-round creek flows through the property, and the nearby town of Welches has a grocery store and many restaurants. The farm is close to hiking trails, Trillium Lake, and the Zigzag River, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
