Woodlawn Resort and Campground is a spacious resort and campground located on beautiful Lake Minnewaska, the 13th largest lake of Minnesota. The resort offers a variety of fish including walleye, perch, northern, sunfish, crappies, and large and small mouth bass. Visitors can enjoy a ride on the Woodlawn Wagon, a fun way to celebrate a great catch. The resort is open only in the summer months of May through the end of August and offers lifts for boats or a sandy beach to pull up on. Boat rentals are available by the 1/2 day or full day. The resort is located near the city of Glenwood, where tennis courts, golf courses, fine shopping, and restaurants are available, and only 13 miles South of Alexandria, where theme parks, movie theaters, and more can be found.
