William G. Lunney Lake Farm County Park is a 345-acre park located on the southern side of Madison, approximately five miles from the Capitol Square in downtown Madison. The park features a campground with 47 reservable sites, including 39 electric sites with 50 amp hookups for RVs, 8 non-electric sites, bathroom and shower facilities, and a sanitary dump station. The park also has three reservable shelters, two accessible fishing piers, play equipment, a barrier-free boat launch with a fish cleaning facility, a wildlife pond, an observation tower, hiking and cross-country ski trails, and a solar energy system that provides about 90% of the electricity used by campers and visitors. The park is part of the Capital Springs Recreation Area and is supported by the Friends of Capital Springs Recreation Area.
