About

Westwood Park is a 800-acre recreational facility in New Castle, Indiana, centered around a 180-acre lake created by an earthen dam. Opened to the public in 1974 by the Big Blue River Conservancy District, the park offers year-round outdoor activities including excellent fishing for bass, sunfish, crappie, and channel catfish.
