The Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland offers a wide range of recreation opportunities, including biking, climbing and caving, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, hunting and shooting, off-highway vehicles, picnicking, scenic drives, water activities, and winter sports. The Boulder Ranger District encompasses over one hundred thousand acres of the Front Range, including the West Magnolia Trailhead. The forest offers a variety of landscapes, from alpine tundra to montane forests, and provides habitat for a wide range of wildlife. Visitors can explore the forest's many trails, lakes, and streams, and enjoy scenic drives through the beautiful mountain scenery.
