The campground features a one-mile sandy beach on a private lake and is conveniently situated near shopping areas, restaurants, ocean beaches, and attractions in the Portland area. Open from May 1st through October 15th, Wassamki Springs offers a range of recreational activities including swimming in crystal clear water, fishing for bass, basketball, volleyball, pickleball courts, playgrounds, cornhole, and a dog run. The campground is known for being kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and family-oriented, with weekly live entertainment during summer months and various activities for all ages. Founded in 1968 by the Hillock family, the campground continues to be family-operated and provides a welcoming vacation destination in Southern Maine.
