Wapocoma Campground is a scenic 100-acre campground located along the South Branch of the Potomac River, 5 miles south of Romney in beautiful and historic Hampshire County, West Virginia. The campground offers over 255 sites with abundant shade trees, positioned on a ridge overlooking the South Branch River Valley and in open meadow areas. All campsites are within walking distance to over 2,000 feet of natural shoreline on the river. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities including river swimming, fishing, boating, walking, and bicycling on the spacious grounds. The campground provides essential amenities such as clean restrooms, hot showers, a camp store, and a playground, along with recreational facilities including basketball, horseshoe pits, a boat ramp, and holiday weekend entertainment.
