The park is bordered by the Wallowa River and the Nez Perce Indian Grounds, where the annual Tamkaliks Friendship Celebration Feast and Pow Wow takes place. All sites are pull-through with full hookups including city water, sewer, electricity, and Wi-Fi access, with most sites featuring both 30 and 50 amp breakers. The park offers clean, spacious bathrooms with handicap-accessible showers, coin-operated laundry facilities, two large fire pits for gatherings, a horseshoe pit, and a green lawn along the river perfect for relaxation. Located just three blocks from the grocery store, post office, bank, and restaurants in Wallowa, the park is also conveniently positioned near Joseph and Wallowa Lake, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. Open March 1st through December 1st, the park welcomes pets and provides a clean, relaxing environment suitable for both family gatherings and solitary retreats.
