Viewland Campground has been providing camping experiences in Alton Bay since 1960. We are located on 10 acres of land just 600ft away from Lake Winnipesaukee. We offer both seasonal sites and also overnight tent sites in a very private secluded setting. Many of our seasonal campers here today have been here many years and have enjoyed the camaraderie with their neighbors. We invite you to join our peaceful community located only 600ft. from the Town Beach on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. We offer an affordable “place at the lake” for those priced out of the local real estate market. Where else can you own your own place within 600ft of the Big Lake at such affordable prices? We are within walking distance to swimming, free boat launching, restaurants, arcades, public boat docks and free public Saturday night concerts in the heart of Alton bay.
