United Campground of Durango is a family-owned and operated park located on the banks of the Animas River, just 4 miles from downtown Durango, Colorado. Operating for over 40 years, the campground offers over 100 level RV sites with water, electric, and sewer hookups, along with over 90 grassy and shaded tent sites. A unique feature is the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad that runs directly through the park, providing guests with excellent photo opportunities and views of the historic train. The park is situated on the north edge of city limits and welcomes families, children, and pets. Open seasonally from May 1 through October 15, United Campground provides a welcoming atmosphere with amenities including bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities.
