Twin Bears Wooded Campground is located in the heart of northern Michigan's scenic "Tip of the Mitten," just four miles east of I-75 near Indian River. The campground offers 160 spacious, wooded sites with varying levels of hookups: 31 full hookups with sewer, 57 with electric and water, 51 with electric-only, and 21 rustic sites. Additionally, four camping cabins are available (two with indoor plumbing) for stays from May through October. The property features family-friendly amenities including a mitten-shaped swimming pool, free 18-hole mini golf course, large playground, gem mining sluice, full-service general store with propane and dump station services, four bathhouse facilities, and a concession window serving ice cream and snacks. Twin Bears is pet-friendly and provides a peaceful, wooded camping experience while remaining close to small towns, wineries, trails, lakes, restaurants, museums, and shopping throughout the region.
