This rustic campground is nestled between Town Corner Lake and the Black River, located within the Pigeon River Country State Forest. It provides easy access to the High Country Pathway. The campground is located 18 miles east of Vanderbilt via East Sturgeon Valley Road. There are 12 sites for tent and small trailer use. The campground offers stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. No reservations are available, and sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are vault toilets, potable water available from a hand-pump well, and no electrical available. Overnight fees and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay, and one camping unit and six people are allowed per site.
